Your safari begins with a warm welcome in Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a brief city tour—including the Genocide Memorial or local markets. Then travel north through Rwanda’s lush hills to Volcanoes National Park. Overnight in Musanze.
After breakfast, you'll join a guided trek to see the playful Golden Monkeys, found only in the Virunga volcanic region. This scenic, moderately challenging hike is both fun and rewarding. Relax in the afternoon or opt for a cultural village visit.
Drive across the Cyanika border into Uganda and head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Along the way, enjoy stunning views of terraced hills. In the afternoon, meet the indigenous Batwa people and learn about their forest traditions, music, and hunting skills.
The highlight of your trip! Join professional trackers for a once-in-a-lifetime trek to a habituated gorilla family. Spend an unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for rest and celebration.
Travel through the scenic Ishasha Sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Continue to the northern section of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy the evening at your lodge.
Rise early for a game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you may spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and more. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a prime spot to view hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.
Venture into the "Valley of Apes", the dramatic Kyambura Gorge, for a chimpanzee-tracking adventure. Along the way, enjoy sightings of other primates and birds. Return for a peaceful final evening in the wild.
